Hey all
Im heading up to Peron in the first week of july school hols and was wondering if anyone has been there recently and can let me know the conditions etc. Have been there a lot when I was younger but not for at least 4 yrs. Also taking a tinny for the first time so any advice on where to try (boat wise) would be great.
Thanks
Ryan

Tip
There is a channel that has a few deeper holes in it that runs right across the top of Point Peron that produces cod, black snapper and pinkies . Its only about 100 metres from the shore and runs up the west side then east from the point.
Not sure if its in the sanctuary zone, you may have to check it out before giving it a try because the fisheries boys have been very busy up this way for the last couple of months.

Peron track
The Peron track was in excellent condition last summer.
It only gets very sandy during the last 20% of the track. From what I saw, with std deflated tyres, even towing a dinghy should present no real hassles.
Can always check with CALM tho, as the whole lot is now under their control.
hope you get a few!
Cheers.

I just love Exmouth: Its a quaint little drinking town with a fishing problem!
