Port Coogee Marina?

Hi all,
I've been hitting up Port Coogee for a couple of years now, without any real luck. Manage to get the odd flatty from time to time, and fish the obvious spots along the wall but rarely get into anything other than trumpeter or small tarwhine.
I've burleyed hard, been out in the storms for snapper, flicked small baits, float fished - all techniques that get me into B&B fish elsewhere.
Just wondering if anyone else on here fishes the spot regularly and whether they have better luck? Or is it simply not producing?
Have been spoilt in recent years, spending so much time between Cervantes & Dongara LB.....getting frustrated with metro fishing!
Cheers

The empty quarter?
I tried some occy pots from the shore there last year , out from the rocks, zilch!
and yet , once in a mates boat only a bit offshore from there , we got heaps.
I always tell the kids ( for a laugh?) the whole areas haunted, you know
old c.y topped himself near there, a million animals met there maker at robbs jetty abottior
and that south freo power station produces those 3 eyed simpson fish that are a bugger to fillet.
Avoid the area mate , yest your soul be dammed!!

Got a few undersize pinkies
Got a few undersize pinkies there a couple of weeks ago. Apart from that, just some really dark coloured flat head.
Also got hit up by fisheries down there last week who were just checking everyone's empty bags.
Pick it up, put it down....

I been going for a few years
I been going for a few years and caught some big skippy and whiting. Small gang of blue bait and berley up. It can be hit and miss usually straight out ocean side. I do go to the jetty from time to time to get some scalies too.

Thanks all
Appreciate the replies....sounds like it is very hit and miss. Think I may have to stick with Murray Bream and Ammo Jetty bait sessions to fill the time between trips up the coast!!!
