I left Hedland quite a few years ago, however ee used to fish catch a few mackeral out the spoil bank.
Chased some barra around the back of Finucane island, mud crabs through the creeks (if you like sand flies) and Jacks when we got lucky (hard work without a boat).

i moved to hedland in
i moved to hedland in November, i have only fish from the shore, and caught some big queenies and trevally
got a few salmon from spoil bank
all depends on the tides.. once you suss the tides out your in with a chance
