He made up for it today
but who would have seen that result coming. I thought the Aussies were cruisin'. First win for the Kiwis on Aussie soil for 25 years. I guess you have got to get lucky sometime.

Time to get out the big saw
Time to get out the big saw and cut a lot of deadwood away!!!
Warner had a great knock and a spirited effort, but as per last dozen matches or so our majority of batmen chocked and spluttered.
So who should stay and who should go?????
Should Ponting be given a Swan song test on Boxing day or go before then?
the middle order needs a kick in the pants too!!!
And what about old Simon Katich, will they bring him back now that he is very much needed???? How can they keep Punter on his poor form and yet throw away such a good player like Simon?

My guess is Katich won't play
My guess is Katich won't play for Aus again. Hughes has got to go,Kawaja out, also they will perservere with ponting if only to help the younger players to settle. Batsmen need to take a good look at themselves, whilst the Kiwi's had a good spell of bowling our senior batsmen left a lot to be desired. Disapointing for Warner after the work he did.

Clarke doesnt like Katto so
Clarke doesnt like Katto so there is no way he will get a gig. Punter deserves to quit when he wants to after all he has done for Aussie cricket,am guessing it wont be far away tho.Hughes definately has to go.It will depend on who is fit out of the rest,Haddin needs to have a good look at himself and with the Indians coming up i cant see them dropping Hussey as he seems to come good in a big way after a lean period.Keep rotating the bowlers, all said and done the Aussies have there work cut out for them if they are going to beat the Indians.
Must say i watched the last session this morning and it was pretty tense stuff ,hope the rest of the tests this summer are as entertaining.even tho we lost.
