Thanks Jay.
Used to spend a lot time chasing the cars in the forest... much better than watching other cars go round in circles on the black stuff !
Unfortunately busy now covering other sports so no time for rally.
Not to mention our wonderful state government "giving away" Rally Aus a few years back... Big mistake IMO...
Must try and make the time and effort next year to take in the Forest Rally or get over to NZ.
cheers,
Paul

Looks good Marc !
Bet ya glad you purchased the remotes and 580 !!
You can also try firing with coloured gels.. something as simple as coloured celophane will do the trick, just on the flash head.
And don't forget to keep your camera and flash in sync :)
Check your manual, you may find you maybe able to bump your sync speed up to 250.. can vary between models and makes !
cheers,
Paul

I thought I would mention that I was in at Universal Signs in Joondalup today and they have just set up a printer to churn out canvas prints of photos. The couple demo ones they had looked great. They come all framed and ready to hang. A lot of these photos would look awesome on walls.

what about pano printing? anyone know of a decent place to get them properly printed

yep...
Same place Sheldon..
Wide format inkjets..
They've got a pano shot hanging up in the store that's a good 3+ meters wide.
The only limitation in pano printing (apart from file size)is mounting/framing !!
If you had a cracker of an image and wanted it in a large width, you could always break it up into panels to be framed or block mounted.

As brad said marc, the Nautral Bridge and Elephant rocks are HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos. I shot them in RAW and then created a psuedo HDR using Photomatix for each image, then stitched them together. its the only 2 images ive managed to make look good hahah it can be very hard to use

Thanks guys I will need to sort out the editing bit so that I can post the underwater pics myself.
These are some of the first underwater pics that I took with our Olympus 8000. The star fish was taken at a place called Oyster Ridge just north of Coral Bay and the Moorish Idol was taken whilst snorkelling at Tantabiddi from the glass bottom boat tour.
It is tricky to pay attention to photo taking and making sure that our kids are not floating away in the current. It was great fun taking the photos and snorkelling around and we can not wait to go back again.
