Powerdive

 Hi All

Anyone on here had anything to do with the Powerdive products? They have a 12v hookah I'm interested in but don't know anyone who has used one.

Looks to be a good idea as it floats with you and its not sitting in the boat. I want something for in close shallow dives for crays as my breath holding skills are shit.

Any info would be appreciated.

I went down 35 to 40 feet. Approx half hour no dramas. Better than tank heaps easyier. Just got to make sure you get your lead weight right. ( breath in float, exhale sink).

i had one a few years back and loved it. unfortunatly i sold it when we sold our last boat. from memory the basic kit was around 2k  if you get one get a second battery as a backup . make sure both batteries are charged up before you go out.

Thanks for the info guys. They look good and no petrol motor running on the boat which is a bonus.

I like the fact you could chuck it in the ute and do shore dives.

What about one person? I'd mostly be solo or with my 13 year old son.
