I was wondering if we could breed our own prawns in perth to use as bait when fishing just wandering weather this is legal and whats the best way to go about it, and if it is illegal can someone shed some light on how to catch prawns 1 person and without a boat thanks.

depends which kind of prawns
depends which kind of prawns that you are after. the swan has heaps of glass shrimp that can be used for freshwater but not sure where you can get hold of those bigger river prawns. cudbfishing is right about breeding them being expensive as well.
