its produced , gummys, tailor, herring, whiting , shovelnose ,tawhine, rays for me...

its a good place, not much reef so just look for gutters n holes, always had more sucess when we burleyed up, someone on here got a hammerhead not long ago...

once you get the smaller stuff the bigger stuff come in, take mulies  for the tailor always get a tailor run as the sun has just disappeared, and i always use squid for the herring, whiting etc..

keep some whiting and herring for bait, always worked for me.

if the swell n wind is up, can be hard work down there tho.

i went saturday. it wa awesome, no wind liitle to no swell sunny skies. i was using a 30g chrome twisty and i was tearing through the herring like there was no tomorrow. always had the 12 ft out with mulies from about 3pm onwards but nothing on that. dropped one tailor that looked 30+ on the twisty but apat from the feed of herring there wasnt much about.

for us it has pretty much only produced herring and smallish tailor but as said ive geard of small sharks shovelnoses and i think ive seen some pictures of mullas being caught there aswell

went a while ago during summer

caught a gummy using mulies. lots of rays and herrings out there. if you can't get any big fish the herrings will keep you entertained
