Hey guys
Just wanted to share the stoke a little...
The mrs and i had the pleasure of fishing lake Tinaroo on wednesday just gone with Ian of Tinaroo Barra Sportfishing. http://www.tinaroobarra.com/
I'll try not to prattle on too much just now as i am waiting to download the photos etc but i did want to give a massive G-up to Ian for MAKING MY YEAR! If anyone is looking for something to do close to Cairns or hanging out for Barra action...
GO TO TINAROO and CATCH YOURSELF A TROPHY BARRA! sorry - still very excited.
the gist is that we both caught our first barras and they went 118 & 120cms and 62 & 50lb respectively. Can't wait to get hold of the photos and pen the story to go with it. On that subject, does anyone have contacts in the magazine world? We are hoping to get the account of our day's fishing published...
stay tuned, and in the meantime plan yourself a visit to this place.

Definitely a Joke
A Barra is a Barra. At 118 and 120 just jealous.

Congrats
Most fishing mags will have details of reader contribution requirements either in the first couple of pages of the mag or on their website.
Alternatively to keep it in the fishwrecked family we would love to put the pics and story in the next Reeltime mag if you were happy with that. If you had video of it that would be great too.
Cheers
