So while my brother and sister in law headed out wide and slayed them (see the big Trout posted, they got more than that) I took Narelle out from Cairns to try and get her a fish. We had about 2 and a half hours fishing due to kid duties so I took a punt at a spot I have and luckily it paid off. I was hoping for a mackerel or two and we ended up with twelve (school macks). We probably lost over 20 as well and Narelle was in her element and getting stuck in which was awesome to see. A few Bludger Trevally and Mack Tuna added to the fun. As you can see the weather was awful. Good fun but a little jealous now after seeing some other photos sent to me .......
