quintrex reef

Gday got a few questions about my quintrex reef its got a 50hp tohatsu no trim tilt or electric start ive got the motor set/ tilted up as far as i can but the nose still wants to bury down  at full noise theres not much weight forward but i cant seem to figure it out any help would be good .Cheers

try a hydrofoil mate should give u lift and more straight line porformance once fitted play with the trim to find the sweet spot hope this helps

Sounds like the leg is still trimmed too far in, you nay need to wedge the bottom of the transom plate out for more lift

the other thing i didnt mention was that turning to sharply cavitates like buggery so i dont know if i want to trim the motor up any more and i will look into a wedge ,cheers boys

Long- leg or short

You may have the wrong length leg on your transom, you will need to take a few measurements of the transom and leg and confirm with someone in the know .
