We will be there the 2nd to the 10th I think it is. Will let you know how we go but we will be mostly boat based this time, with a few cobia mornings thrown in.

And the wind will be there as well so expect SE 15-20 turning SW 20-30 each day unless a trough forms on the coast

Had the same last year - calm early in the morning before sun up. Wind would pick up mid morning. Did alright at Garths/Camp and Kangaroo. PLenty of Sharkies/Cobia and odd Spanish Mack
Going to look for the caves this time as some relief from SE winds as well.

Was chatting to the mackie fisherman who has the use of sea rescue's Blowholes shack while he's up and there are heaps of shark macks just waiting for you. The spaniards and greys have dropped right off in the past 3 weeks and sharkies have taken their place big tim, to the point he upped syick and went home earlier than usual
