Rapala cd 14

 Hi guys 

chasing thoughts on best colour rapala cd 14 for fishing north of derby. We have been told we need 5 each so need 25 of them. It's just the colour we have no clue on. Any favourites ?

Silver Mackerel pattern...

 ...although it's actually blue with a white belly and the black mackerel-type stripes on the back. Got several YFT to 20kg and an average Spaniard on this particular lure at Jurien.

 the red and white ones are known as maurice riolis in the pilbara , the ducks guts for spaniards

Yep, majority silver mackerel, a few orange/gold, a couple of red/white, then maybe a couple of randoms. I'm assuming you'll be mainly trolling for macks so the silver mackerel is a good colour. Trevally will eat anything. :)

bright day = dark belly
dark day = light belly
(you want it to be seen standing out from below)

red heads or blue mackerel silver belly always a staple.

My favourite is the blue mackerel, old school lure but those flashing silver bibs always gain attention.

 I'm not exactly sure on target, Spanish mackerel I think. Freshwater cove north of derby. We have buck tail jigs ang gold bombers I don't know exactly what's around that area.
