retrieval at tantabidi

Gday all chasing some info on tantabidi ramp. im heading down for 10 days in sept - oct i have a 6.8m bayshore ali boat and am wondering what the cut off for low tide would be to get my boat out . i have checked the search function and can only seem to find info on before the ramp was upgraded.

Regards Carry

A big cat like that you may

A big cat like that you may want a little more water. Since they dredged it has been pretty good and has not built up yet but also depends how deep you need to get your trailer as you will run out of ramp with a boat that big. To play it safe I would say anything over .7mtr should be ok for a big cat

Was there last week fishing

Was there last week fishing the full moon.  One side of the ramp is badly silted over but the other side was launching / retrieving big cats easily (with large retrival vehicles / small trucks).

Just have to be aware at low tide not to drop your trailer wheels off the edge.
