raymarine sounder DS500

Just wondering if any one has a raymarine DS500 just bought a second hand genesis 5.2 and it had that sounder init looking for some tips on how 2 set it up 2 get best performance and maybe someone who could explain what i should be looking for 2 find fish whole screen is covered in coloured blotches and there obviously not fish I cant work out how 2 change the sensitivity

Can't help you personally biggerfish but if you didn't get a copy of the manual download this one and have a read. It might give you a few ideas about setting it up and changing the settings.
