Recent Jurien trip scored me a PB

As many would know Seasports Charters haven been providing many of us opportunities to get into the light jigging scene. Many with PB and great captures. I recently scored my PB and my 2nd ever of this particular species. This time its legal size!!!
Weighed on the Bogagrip to 50lb. Caught on a PE 2 light jigging gear and 100gm jig. Only 40lb Flourocarbon leader.
Also got this nice Baldie as well.
on jig as well.
And the usual Dhuie. One of the 2 I caught that day.
Was a great day on the water with great company (Ricey and Ectopic and his missus) and of coz Whitey and his decky Matt.
Can't to get back up there again.

Those kings go hard dont they! hooked many unstoppables down hamelin bay which would be pushing those type of weights i rekon, see them come up and nail the bait or lure, and just scream away at 100 mile an hour! all in 5m of water!

no idea how long but if I have to, probably estimated around 1.4-1.5m.
Weighed 50lb on the bogagrip.
Only took about 15 or so mins to land him.

yeh boy gotta be happy, good fish on rediculous gear once again haha. I used pe 3 gear with 40 pound leader and two fish gave me no chance on mon/tues if it was you probably would have got them ya bastard :P See ya in the shop soon

Well done mate a great fish on PE2, maybe you would have landed heaps more if you weren't using PE2 haha, you will have to come to the Three Kings some time, you will catch them that big all day long and bigger.
