An Awsome 20lber to start my Home river fishing season off
i catch these on a 7 foot trout fishing rod and reel
using a 35 to 50lb braided line single barbless hook and a tiny bit of wool for presentation
these are some of the hardest fighting fish youll ever get in a river and a hella lotta fun
they fight to the last breath till they cant move no more

Great Photo!
I have experienced fishing for such creatures first hand. My excursions involved fly. I have also spent some time on the Western seaboard in Canada and apart from the winter chill, it is my favourite place. Keep the pictures coming Reaper. It makes a change from my sorry-assed posts of local Tailor and Herring LOL.

ifn some one can explain how to get a personall album going ill post all of 2010s catches
and yes it is a beautifull river to fish in that particular spot is a bank in the middle of the river you have to wade across a fast floring river to get to it
and trust me at 5 am when ya cant see anything cept what you flashlight shows makes it a tough haul
that fish was the only fish caught on the river that day and a major surprise to everone cause those fish was not expected to be in the system for another 3 weeks it goes Chinook Then Coho then Chum
i live on Vancover island if any one wants to look it up we call this place Gods Country and once you come here most never ever leave
