Recommendations on Digital Cameras

Thought id ask everyone since im not big on digital cameras and maybe something new is out that i dont know of to use on my travels. For snowboarding, fishing and anything crazy i decide to do i have my gopro but for the more scenic type photos etc would be good to have one. Also i do have a stop over in Shanghai for a day so if anyone that has been there before and knows if its cheaper/better to buy in China than please let me know. I previously had a lumix(size is perfect) and was always good to me so i may result to that.
So i guess im asking what you guys have and if its waterproof and tough, never know with the crazy party nights ahead.

I got the Olmypus TG-1 duty
I got the Olmypus TG-1 duty free while on a NZ trip in July this year. Very happy with the camera. Takes great pics(12MP i think), but MP aside, the actual photos them selves look great and even does Video in 1080HD. Obviously though no 'Tough' camera out at the moment is as good as a quality DLSR for quality pics. Its alot bigger than the previous Olympus Tough Cameras, but i like. Took it with me snowboarding over there and it didnt mind the snow at all. Even without the waterproof housing i have had it in the ocean with me a couple of times snorkelling back here and it hasnt leaked. Though i mainly use my GoPro for underwater filming in deeper stuff. Its also cool in the fact it has a selection mode called 'magic'(i know sounds gay) but it gives all sorts of different effects to taking pics that sometimes can look pretty cool.

I've got the TG-1 as well and I'm pretty happy with it. The TG-1 comes with the option of fitting a telescopic or fisheye lens to it as well, both are waterproof to 12m as is the camera. I think the extras are worth around $120ea.

Sony A5 (dry) Lumix for wet
Dry environment - A5 truly amazing with a high speed card @ around 15-20 frames a second and takes superb panorama shots
Lumix for it's compactness and ability to use in up to 10 metres of water (actually tried at that depth and proven reliable)

AgreeI had a canon bridge
Agree
I had a canon S3 iS , then got the lumix a year ago. It was a step down in pic quality.
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.
