Sustain
May be worth looking at the Shimano sustain 4000FE. You can pick up one online for under $300AUD plus it comes with a spare spool.

Abu Soron stx 60 $200 spare
Abu Soron stx 60 $200 spare spool and good drag system. 11 bearings. I have 20lb bionic on one spool and 30lb frog on the other. Love it.

2nd the Abu Soron stx mate
but I paid $130 from ebay (US) for mine I think there $200+ here.
Been a great reel for demersal jigging and plastics. Landed Sambos up to 25kg on it. It's got pe3 boat braid on it and hasn't missed a beat.
Wouldn't hesitate to get another.

I have a Sustain 4000
I have a Sustain 4000 personally and can vouch for its strength and quality drag. Mines caught all kinds of weird and wonderfull things in the last 2.5 years and has taken some screaming runs. Havent serviced it once and still runs standard drag washers. Got mine spooled with 20lb Daiwa Accudepth.

If you go for a sustain or
If you go for a sustain or stradic get the 5k size as they have bigger spools and weigh about 30 grams more. Both great reels, but the sustain is the way to go if you've got the money

If you want a 5000, the Stradic is good, unfortunately there is no Sustain 5000.

Fleebay has 5k sustains from the states, only reason I got the stradic 5k is to some some $$. Next time I'll go all out on a Stella.

Yeah sorry, I wasn't counting
Yeah sorry, I wasn't counting OS. There is hardly any difference between the Stradic and Sustain anyway. Can't go wrong with either.

Sustains and stradics both
Sustains and stradics both have graphite rotors and side plates, still strong but have seen them go, Sorons are all metal, way more bearings and heaps better drag.

Daiwa Tierra 3000 or
Daiwa Tierra 3000 or 4000......I can gaurantee they won't be good enough. Nice little reel but not up to the rigours of any jigging at all. Three nice 7 kg fish on the 3000 and it is groaning like a two bit hooker!!!!
Can't say I am convinced with Daiwa reels. They don't seem to be as smooth as shimano reels, even cheapies, and don't last.
I replaced the 3000 Tierra with a SW4000PG Stella. Problem solved, but did hurt the hip pocket.
I recon give the stradic a go. Goodz has em and loves em.
Boston Whaler 235 Conquest......getting the flogging it was built for.
