Just wondering what everyones favourite colour / favourite size ?(oz) richter plugs are for tailor

The lime green ones are working for me at the moment
But the whites and the pinks are also doing well.

they're all good, just get
they're all good, just get something around 70cm-100cm, colours don't have too much of an effect

A very basic but effective
A very basic but effective surface plug. I got a bunch of tuna on them in season too.

they are basically plastic
they are basically plastic with a lump of lead inside them, they sink, but usually u just crank them across the surface and they kick up a bit of spray and have an action similar to that of a twistie, tailor love em.

just wondering what weight
just wondering what weight to get... would a 2oz richter plug be too heavy for a 4-10 kilo 8 foot general purpose rod, or should i go for the 1oz instead? would be casting from the beach mostly.

As far as
the weights go, 1oz = 28g. So 2oz = 56g, 3oz = 84g etc. I generally stick to the 2oz on my 7'6" spin stick and the 3 or 4oz on my 10 and 12ft spin sticks. I've found all colours effective but generally buy white or green.
There great surface lures for Tailor and Salmon, just about anything up north

bought 2 richter plugs on
bought 2 richter plugs on the weekend, 1oz in white and 2oz in green. already caught one tailor on the smaller white lure tonight off the beach in mandurah! what is the most effective way to retrieve the richter's... and also what's the best way to attach them to my line... swivel clips, loop knots?

Nice work
personally i retrieve them so they skip across the surface, basically like you would imagine a fleeing mullet or Gar. I usually attach a richter clip swivel to the end of my trace for easier lure changes.

have seen colour doesn't make alot of difference.
