Looking at being in the river friday night in preperation for the rotto swim on saturday morning and was thinking of maybe doing a bit of crabbing while on the water, what locations are producing and what areas arent, and what depths?
thanks

went to canning last night
went to canning last night with fresh tailor heads as bait (best) and only managed to get one there, so headed off to OSB way and only managed to get one more but it was a monster at 18cm. They seem to be thinning out a bit now. Thought I would ahve cleaned up with the fresh bait. Heading out early sunday so will see what happens then. I find you get more early morning than you do in the arvo / night

I drive past the brewery
I drive past the brewery every morning and there are always boats out there. I reckon most of the Swan River crabs would be just about caught by now going by the amount of boats out there all week long. Good luck though Mako. I can't really help you in crabbing in the Swan cause I've never done it but I hope you can find some.
