boat ramps 2023/ 2036

You have to be shitting me. No upgrade at bebt street and an upgrade at Port Kennedy. That is one ofthe worst ramps there is. No good in any sort of swell and crap in a South wester. also sand build up.There is also the problem of car park shoppers, to much theiving goes on there. At least at Bent street it on the main drag along the beach front. Why they can't build a decent ramp with a groine and adequate parking i dont know. warnbro sound is a marine park not a reserve. Is the council going to have adequate security  ( camera's ) at PKBR? a lot of good that will do. It gives me the utter shits. Safety bay has always been the poor cousin in the Rockinghan council area. A good ramp east of the weed bankwould last for years they just don't want to spend the money. Or better still a a good ramp out from the yatch club , plenty of parking area available. Time to sack the dick heads that keep coming up with shit idea's and get some practicality in to it.

Is the area that needs a decent size marina built.  Rockingham and Mandurah councils to go halves.  Port Kennedy is a crap ramp and cars get broken into.   If the northern suburbs can have decent marinas every few km then so should the south.   Something like Mindarie for all the boaties between Madora and Secret harbour.

The problem there is the swell. i used to surf the stretch of beach and it can get a good size swell going at times the you have the problem of going through the murry reefs to get out side, Warnbro is the best bay to have it and i agree that good marina is really needed, Unfortunately we have a council that has no vision for the safety bay side of things. They say they can't build a decent ramp east of bent street because its a marine park, but had no problems building one in port kennedy thats as good as tits on a bull. A good marina is what is required i agree with that totally. maybe mark Mcgowan needs to get invovled as he is our parlimentry memeber?

We used Pt Kennedy once and thought it was pretty shitty and the same with Bent St so only use Carlisle or PP. I prefer the beach ramp as there are generally not too many other people there and those that go there have a bit of an idea how to do things.
