Rockingham Sea Snake

Seen this 1.5 m Sea Snake today about 50 Mts from Rockingham Beach. Cant say i have seen any sea snakes around these parts, is this unusual?? Also any one know what type of Sea Snake it is?

Looks like a banded sea snake to me
Lost obviously or in a pocket of very warm water

Was on the busso jetty last
Was on the busso jetty last Friday night and one was swimming past. The most random thing I have seen in ages down that way.

See them in the sound all the time

Jetties
Seen them off Palm beach jetty before at night, and mangles bay about 2m off the beach when crabbing. That one gave me a hell of a surprise!
About half the size though, and in summer.
