Rod suggestions

I just purchased a Daiwa Caldia 2506 from rayannes for $189 delivered and Im wondering what others would suggest is a good rod to match. I do have an old 3-6kg 6'6 graphite shakespere catera that I still use but Im thinking of going a bit lighter rod (1-3kg or 2-4kg) and perhaps a bit longer (7ft or so) to target bream and flatties as well as trolling/casting from a boat for tailor and salmon and possibly target kg's with sp. I have 10lb powerpro to spool it with. Dont wanna spend mega bucks, have heard pfleuger trion and berkley dropshots are good budget options.

dropshot
I would recommend the dropshot. Can get them nice and cheap at the moment. Recently got a gen3 2-4kg 6'10 2pce for bream, whiting, flatties and tailor and a 6'6 6-8kg 1pce for snapper. All up it they cost me $179 total. Bargain!!! The gen3 dropshot is in the process of being replaced with the gen4 but i couldnt really tell the difference between the two instore apart from the colour change (and maybe some new components?).
