Natural Jetty

I think the Natural Jetty is a ripper location. We usually fish on the Thompson Bay side. There is a bit of structure and it is quite deep. We usually clean up there with Skippy, Tarwhine and Herring. I am convinced there are bigger fish around there but we never seem to have any joy. We regularly see sambos cruising along the reef shelf but no amount of mulies seems to attract them. One pain in the backside is that neither General Store sells blocks of mulies; they only sell the 6-10 packs for some exorbitant price.

There's some good fishing to be had in Little Armstrong Bay as well.

Try Radar Reef on low tide or alternatively Ricey Beach can throw up some bigger fish.

Ive heard that the western

Ive heard that the western side of the island is not too bad for some nice tailor and also mulloway this time of year. Careful tho cause lot of this area is closed to fishing, but there are still some nice safe spots where big fish are regularly caught. Plenty of skippy around this time of year as well

I regularly take my two boy

I regularly take my two boy snorkelling on the northern side of Wallace island between dives, and always see heaps of Taylor and plenty of schools of herring. This is at the shore end and an easy walk across the shallow reef from Bickley point.
