bit of weather were getting may break the schools up and get them moving our way. As far as i've heard they are few and far between from Augusta northwards. I've put quite a few hours in looking around my local Capes beaches and talking to a few other Salmon chasers and we havn't seen a single Salmon.
If you sniff around the usual places like Cosy Corner, Deepdene, Hamelin/Boranup you should find a couple but it wont be anything like a 'normal' Salmon run this year

It might just be a late run
or wider than normal. Some bunners boys have been getting em in 40mtr bottom bashing and lots of!! Go figure

Augusta
Just got back from Augusta, had a cracking first session yesterday.
Landed 4 in an hour and lost couple behind the reef.
Commercial fisherman pulled in 5 tonnes of fish.
Average size were good around 5-7 kgs.
Went this morning, not even a small patch. Easterly was blowing.
Will put a post in reports.
