Hi Guys, Have been out nearly everyday this week except Thursday and not looking good for jigs at the moment. You get a triple hookup on first drop then maybe 1 next, then nothing. Sharks have moved in on inner barges straight up. Got my first one [shark] tied up to back of boat from the boys from Malaysia. Good effort, took 40 min and 6 guys.Easy 8 foot and 200kg. Let him go, couldn't do it.Crayfish going well with 30 in 3 days, biggest one 2.2kg and heaps of biggies. Caught a whiting and a wrasse today and after 3 hours of jigging put them down as we forgot about them and instant hookup[ double]while people jigging.And we got them up and let go.That spot a secret! So hopefully with the full moon the Sambos get thicker and spread out to the smaller spots and away from sharks. The both Barges are absolutely no go to sharks so if you want to catch a shark not a sambo go there. I will not be going to the barges, Hillarys Patch again unless to target sharks .Just thought i would pass on.Craig
