I use a stradic 3000 0n my 302 and that could easily run on a 402.. or a 2500 - 3000 daiwa. Depends on how much coin you have to spend as to what model
Is the brazino as good as it looks/sounds catchalittle, im thinking of getting one before the stocks run out as they have been discontinued. I will be putting it on a nitro viper.
well what are you using it for? the 402 can handle most pe2 appropriate reels. Have seen them nicely matched to branzinos and the like. Also depends how much you want to spend
I mostly run a 2010 certate on mine. Have also used a 3000 fuego which is a bit lighter, but still seemed to balance alright. Reckon a stradic would go alright, they are a bloody tough reel.
I'm pretty sure with the Stradic, in fact all Shimano spin reels, that the 2500 and 3000 are the same with a bigger spool for the 3000 the only difference. The 4000 is a bigger reel. I think you will have enough line capacity on the 2500 body size. If you are concerned get the 3000 spool.
Looking at the Shimano website and the above still looks to hold true with the new Stradics.
