Scam sites
Submitted by aaasnapper on Mon, 2011-09-05 12:42
I will edit this post to say this site is a scam. I am just putting it up as a reference to how easy people get caught out.
Remember if its too good to be true it probably is.

getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.

The prices are more than pretty good!
If people are offering new $400 stellas, that's an indication that it is too good to be true!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Had a friend of mine chat to me on facebook the other day. I asked him how he was and he said "He had taken a short trip to scotland, he had been mugged at gun point and he needed my help". The alarm bells went off straight away as I new my mate was in melbourne, I played along and sure enough the person on the other end asked me to send them some money so they could get home. Supposedly this is a pretty common thing at the moment, they hack your account and lock you out then try scam your friends.
Have to be pretty silly to fall for it though..

I got locked out of facebook
Couple of months ago. It had me located in Melbourne and wouldn't let me i so had to get my passwords redone and then all fine. No idea how they got in or why. Didn't get anyone ask me for anything and lets face facts, my mates would leave me stranded so they are getting bugger all out of them
I think this crap happens more than we think and the world is too busy surviving to catch up and stop it.
