Have never tried them myself but have often heard of them referred to as "the poor mans lobster". Just be careful filleting as the sting is very painful. If by some chance you are stung, immerse the wound in the hottest water you can stand. The venom is protein based and heat breaks it down.

When it is slow i often bring in a decent size one.
I think they taste pretty good. Nice white flesh.
I have probably filleted about 20 Of them
Just be careful when filleting . Dor The obvious reason.
When i share the fish around with a few crew and a few different fish people are often surprized at the taste
You get 2 nice size fillets from them.
