Hey guys very new to boating managed to get out to the sth end of rotto a couple of times.
Was thinking of investing in a sea anchor to help with a slow drift.
Do these things actually work or am i best just dropping the pick over ?
Any advice is very much appreciated.
Cheers

sea anchor
Yes they work, and yes will help with slowing the drift. Enables you to hold bottom and still cover some ground.

What sizes would be recommended for a boat up to 6.0m ?
BCF have one 600mm dia for boats up to 6.5m. My tinnie is 4.2m.
Seems small when I look at it but maybe a bigger one is an over kill....

The one I have is for boats
The one I have is for boats 6.5 - 8m yet the boat is only 5.7m. I don't know if there is an exact science behind sea anchor size compared to boat size however any 1 size you get will not be perfect in all conditions as drift speeds vary with the wind, tide, current.
