For those that suffer from seasickness and use Travacalm original.
Went looking for some earlier this evening and aparently everywhere down mandurah is out of stock. supplier are out of stock according to 3 pharmacies i rang.
If you have any use sparingly as no one knows when they will be back in stock.
Sandys got enough for tomorrow then who knows.
Hope everyone else has their supply

Quell
I was a travelcalm user until they ran out. Gave quells a go and work just as well. Might be worth a try.

Pineapple
If you can't get any travelcalm then eat pineapple, that way you get to taste it twice up to 24 hours later

I use the Nile compound
I use the Nile compound chemist seasick tablets, the ones ET endorses. They have ginger, caffeine, an antihistamine and another active ingredient which is found in Kwells and Travacalm. I find them to be really good but $30 for 10 tablets and you have to order them over the phone and have them sent to your house.

Getting back to nature?
I saw some travel calm natural ( light brown packet) the othe day , theres nothing in them but ginger extract, so I grabbed some
cause I really hate that dry throat , and sleepyness that non naturals give you.( even the non drowsy still have side affects)
They do work , but in my opinion after using quells , travelcalm , avils, etc they are not quite as strong , and wouldnt help me on a big day,
however if you dont have a bag of jelly guts like me , and you only suffer slightly , give them a go , cause there is really no side affects , and if you boat alot
swallowing all those chemicals cant be good long term, i.m.o

Travel gum
Got caught on an FPSO just south of Barrow island a few years back, 7m swell. Was feeling really bad starting to look a bit green when this old Italian bloke game me some travel gum. 10 mins later felt much better, colour returned and didnt notice any side effects either.
Below is the generic brand with the same active ingredient. The one I had was Travel gum. You can buy it online.
Why do people buy s#*t they dont need to impress people they don't like!

Benadryl worth a try.
Older over-the-counter antihistamines such as dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) and diphenhydramine(Benadryl) have been proven to counteract motion sickness and are approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use by children older than 2.

Out of interest does anyone
Out of interest does anyone carry Maxalon (anti naesea med) onboard? My mate is keen to come out to try catch a dhu but is too afraid of his chronic seasickness he suffered the only time he's been on a boat and I don't want to head out only to have to turn around.
Officially off the Pies bandwagon

I would be more inclined to
I would be more inclined to get him onto some sea sickness prevention as opposed to maxalon once he starts throwing up.travacalm or kwells before you go out.

Just get some travacalm HO
Just get some travacalm HO and some Benadryl and you have a very close match to travacalm original. Plus an expreso before you go out. I use the originals every time I go out but have some HO version and Benadryl now they are hard to come by. Get some benadryln eBay cheap as chips.
