What bait were you using?  I'm thinking if going to port Kennedy beach first and catching some herring or something to use as live bait or fresh fillets

This stretch is the home for some monster fish. Tailor and Mulloway the pick of the bunch. If you do the hours you will figure the beach pattern. Speak to some locals to increase your chances. some big mulloway have been caught in this area along with plenty of soapies, small sharks and salmon when they are running. You will get your usual herring and some nice whitting. Thats all i will share with you mate, definaltey worth the hours of research and you will get your fish.
