Into the Semis
I'm still got a semi after last week's game! What a rollercoaster season for West Coast supporters.
My heart tells me that West Coast can win this game as we've matched GWS pretty well twice this season but my head tells me that the boys were absolutely spent even before the extra time on Sat and 3 days in Perth then back to NSW will make it extremely hard to keep up with the GWS mids who overran us on our home deck. With Mummy out we can get the ball to ground but need to make it a scrap in the middle and rely on Mitchell and Pridda to win a lot of contested ball and give our forwards good supply.
I can't see the Sydney machine being stopped anytime soon and Geelong being robbed of another home final puts them at a disadvantage from the get go.

i feel for Geelong...playing away so the AFL can make some more money is ridiculous.
...but back to the real game, the eagles will struggle in the mids, particularly with older legs in the latter half of quarters.

Its a little hard to gauge some of the Giants mids, Kelly and Shiel top shelf but you wonder how some of the rest would go in a second rate team/mid field?

Schofield drops one game all season and the bloke who starts beating the best teams when he gets an influx of AFL players back in his side wins the award. Harding who took the Black Ducks from wooden spoon to a semi is also a more deserved winner that the puppet in charge of Peel.
It's like the WAFL is dying from a self inflicted stab wound but want to hurry and die by still stabbing itself continuously.
