Serpentine river

Hey all
Went for a hike up serpentine fall just two days ago, pretty dissapointing to see how bonedry it was, only a few muddy pools
scattered along the river. Anyways Iam keen to know, has anyone actually ever caught something In the serpentine river above the falls?
