Shark Bay worth fishing in September?

I'm tossing up between a trip tp Denham or Exmouth early in September, have fished Exxie (shark heaven) between March and November over the last 12 years and know what to expect, been to Denham a couple of times but not in September so was wondering if it would be worth going there instead of the trek to Exmouth, would appreciate a few opinions from those that have done this.

Denham is tough to fish if
Denham is tough to fish if you dont have a boat in my opinion. Plus the constant wind also makes it challenging. Not saying it can't be done but can be difficult
I'm going up to Steep Point in Sept which, in my opinion, is far better than Denham. Just a much bigger logistical effort than Denham :P

Denham fishing
Worst part about our GR8 state's the wind but thems the breaks, would be taking the boat if I go to Denham, have been there before and been up to Cape Inscription as well as fishing the shoals but not in August /September, got the feeling that Exxie would be the better option having been there in November a number of years ago.
The chief cook and bottle washer tells me that lifes too short and to go when ever I like (71 going on 72 and still a pup!) so either place is looking inviting. Cheers Blue.
