shellfish?

i might sound like an idiot asking this or explaining it but those little shellfish things you get on the rocks at marinas and stuff which you can pick off with an oyster knife....do they make decent bait?

sorry if i explained that badly, did my best haha

Are you talking about mussels?
Mussels are a good bait for bream.
Thread them on a g shape hook and use whole.
Bream love eating the mussels and it prevents pests like blowies stealin ur bait.
