Just wondered if anyone has or had one of these. About a 700 sized baitcaster built first in 1981. Gold colour and forerunner to the Calcutta. What did you think of it???

Yes I had one of those in the early 80s. Spooled it with 6kg line and it knocked over numerous Dampier sails. I had no problems with the reel but I think the ABU7000 loaded with 4kg had a smoother drag.

I think both reels needed a
I think both reels needed a carbontex upgrade for their drags. Thanks for your reply.
