Shimano Tyrnos 50 (2-speed)

I have just purchased and received a Tyrnos 50 from the US this week and was just looking for some good ideas for the perfect rod that will match the reel. I'm going to put some Daiwa braid on the reel and have a few ideas about the rod, but thought some of the members might own one and pass on their selection. With the US dollar at a good exchange rate at the moment I managed to pick the reel up for $350-00, which was an excellent buy if you look at current Australian prices.

I have a 30 that I use for
I have a 30 that I use for trolling only. Its loaded with 15kg mono. The 50 is a pretty big and heavy reel to be loading with braid, if bottom bouncing is what you intend to do with it, but it really depends what you want to use it for.
The 30 is a sweet reel, hasn't let me down yet

looking at the 50 to stop
looking at the 50 to stop the sharks stealing the catch. They are pretty selective out from Dampier. They tend to take the big stuff and leave you the small crumby stuff. The 30's are good also, have had some good success with braid bottom bouncing. You can feel every bite and can determine the fish with a bit more accuracy.
