I might be wrong
but i can't think of anywhere you can 'legally' camp near a beach in Busso. Wonnerup maybe?
There are a few spots on the west coast but the rangers can be about.

Wonnerup
Was a few spots along the beach track to Forrest beach where you could camp but make sure you have plenty of aeroguard because the mossies will carry you away.

Not far East of Busselton, near the beach - free area :-)
Look at Tuart drive, behind Warrenup, in state Forest No 2, on the LEFT side of Tuart Drive, going south, not far from Busso.
To find it you turn RIGHT off Bussell Highway, going FROM Perth onto the 'Bypass road' through the Tuart Forrest.
It's a large cleared and fenced area off the road, BUT your looking for a smallish entry area that opens out, I believe it's a 24 hour camping site, but it's NOT marked as such
I've stayed there a few times with other people camping for a while.

cheers all, much appreciated!
Wishing we could go north, beach fishing down south just seems so boring when the salmon arent running!
