Smart trim tabs

Hi there,
I'm after some feedback on these "smart tabs" whitch seems to get pretty good reviews and it could improve the ride of my savage osprey 525 whitch have a nouse up attitude.
They seams to do well and they really affordable but my question is...how to retract them on a following sea?? Anyone out there fitted them on a savage osprey?
Thanks

I ve never used these either but
in a leading sea with these trim tabs wouldnt you just trim the motor up? I dont have trim tabs at all and always trim motor up to suit leading sea conditions

I read it's the connection
I read it's the connection between the tab switch and the steering wheel that's most important part.

Good for small boats
At less than $200, they are a good cheap alternative to the lencos and bennetts for small boats if you have already tried adjusting weight distribution and/or those hydrofoils that you attach to the anti-cavitation plate on your outboard. I've used them for about 4 years now on a 6m Fibreglass boat and I've only had to replace one gas strut ($50 for a pair) in that time. They fixed a tendancy for the boat to porpoise in certain conditions/speeds. They do create a bit of drag at very slow speeds but I find I get on plane a little faster and can maintain planing at slower speeds than before I installed them.
If you are worried about them keeping the bow down in following seas there is a retractor kit for $70 which pulls them out of the way and allows you to adjust trim using the leg of your outboard as suggested above. I wish I knew about the retractors before as I'll probably have to add more holes to the transom to install them.
Whitworths has the trimtabs and the retractor kits. www.whitworths.com.au/main_itemdetail.asp
