Snapped my Daiwa 3 piece blackjack

$170 worth of rod snapped during whiting fishing in Geraldton just now, drove to bcf to catch late night shopping and they closed seconds before we got there. Not winning. Anyhow after all that was wondering what I should replace it with, going to be soft plastic and bait fishing for  bream and other bread and butter species, it'll be paired with my nexave 2500 . Any ideas on decent rods?

At $170 I thought that would be a decent rod

Never known anyone to break a rod fishing... It's always car doors or falling over, mine was forgetting I put a swivel on and reeling in too fast in the dark, but I'll go with gt sized whiting when I tell the missus I need a new rod.

Check out the Shimano 3-Zero rods mate.  They're nice rod for under $200.  And BCF stock them.
