Had an average day out lately but managed a decent snapper and cray to keep us happy. Fished from 5-12 out from mindarie in about 35m, caught a lot of small snapper and dhuies on Octo-jigs and placcys. Only the one keeper.

Friendly reminder
Don't forget to trim your cray tails to save you any grief from fisheries.

Ha, I learnt that the hard
Ha, I learnt that the hard way, the tail you can't see has been cut, but looking at it now it doesn't look like it. Lost a couple of crays to fisheries on the first pull because we forgot.

Must be the central flap
I know its a technicality, but you need to cut the central flap instead of the outer ones. Not trying to bust your balls but sometimes grumpy fisheries officers will!

Sweet, didn't know it had to
Sweet, didn't know it had to be the central flap, although I should I've read the rules enough times to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I definitly know it has to be within 5 min, if its 10 minutes your still busted but the rules are for a reason
