As mentioned above, these type of lures are ideal for salmon but you're better off with the larger sizes for them...110mm or 130mm, not sure of the exact sizes.
Got some footage somewhere of a 6-7kg beast smashing one of those or similar, down south last easter. Booked accom today and going the week before easter again next year. Throw it out, bounce it off there heads and wind like no tomorrow.
You should really pick the lure to suit what you want to target. Not the other way round, then you'll end up buying the whole shop. I try to target something and then pick out suitable lures.
That rigged Squidgy is suitable for river work chasing large flatties and possibly mulloway. Bream or tailor might have a go at it but not really that suitable.

but it is only 80mm (8cm) and i am not fishing of a boat but of a jetty or marina would i still catch something with it of off there??
