Some F*#k'n people
So yesterday I take the misses out to whale watch. As advised to Katman in another post we were about 3-4 ks at the back of Rotto. After we'd our fill of whales breaching tail slapping etc... it was time to hit the Rotto pub for a feed. We'd normally take our own feed and sit in a bay but we'd had a big one the night before and woke at 9 so it was a last minute decision to make the most of the conditions,
anyway i digress. The pub was fairly packed and it was a struggle to find a table but eventually did. So as we are waiting for our feed to arrive a couple of blokes asked if they could sit at the next next to us, "no worries" was our reply. A few minutes later another bloke arrives and proceeds to tell his mates he just got done by fisheries for cray offences.
In summary here's what we overheard. They'd had their pots inside the sanctuary zone, had more crays than the number of licenses on board & they had undersized & tar spotted females crays (didn't say how many). The bloke was filthy on the fisheries and said he'd told them to get the f*#k off his boat. Excellent maneuver, I'm thinking when I hear that one as they'll go you harder for that.
Then he says he's got a mate in fisheries so hopefully he can get him off. I frigging hope not. The 2 that had originally sat next to us then left to go join the arsehole and his mates elsewhere in the pub, thank goodness for that as I was having a hard time holding my tongue. The misses had already given me a kick under the table as she knows what I'm like, haha. Seriously some f*#k'n people.
There's 3 kinds of people in this world, those who can count and those that can't.

Good to see Fisheries doing
Good to see Fisheries doing their job.
Too Many, in a Sanctuary zone, and with Tar Spot. What a prick.
Hopefully his boat is also branded like the "seized by fisheries" one on Facebook over the weekend.

operation bagana
fisheries have anounced operation bagana to specifically target dicks like this. They are the reason so many blokes like me have given up on craying as I was sick of people pulling my pots. Fisheries stated they intend confiscating vessels for gear interference. Will watch the forum closely to see how your all getting on and if successful may try again next year. As for these dicks, throw the sink at them. I want my kids to be able to get a feed in the future as well

I had a arse clown over the radio yesterday asking the legal size for Dhuies saying he had two on board, I told him about the demersal closure and he had to chuck em back. He then told me he'd already filleted them. I said mate if you are for real then you are and absolute clown to which a couple of other boats agreed. I'm hoping just a dickhead radio troll but these days I wouldn't be surprised. You just have to wonder WTF!!

We were out fairly wide yesterday looking for tuna (only small SBT's unfortunately .....) and there was a boat drift fishing on a spot and depth that would only be good for demersals.........you have got to wonder sometimes......

I'm amazed at how many tld25 boat show combos you see sitting in rocket launchers loaded up with 8/0 patternostas and dhuie bombs launching at hilllaries during the ban. Nfa or just plain ignorance?
