Police have rescued missing girl Cleo Smith alive and well after smashing down the door of a locked house in Carnarvon.
WA Police Deputy Commissioner Col Blanch said it was his “privilege” to announce the little girl, who went missing more than two weeks ago, was found in the early hours of the morning.
A man is in custody. and is being questioned by detectives.

Reported that he has been taken to hospital with a "self inflicted" head injury. Makes you wonder if he tried to head butt the wall or something .

I tend to agree with my hopes that he was just looking for someone to play with the toys - saw her as a doll or something.
Clearly there are some mental illness as he had made up a family on his facebook profile. Said he had kids and a wife but it was just him.
Hopefully little Cleo wasnt harmed.

I saw one of the police in
I saw one of the police in the recent pic with Mark McGowan this afternoon at school pick up. His boy and my boy (both 4) are mates.
He had been in Carnarvon for the past three weeks.
Gave him an uncomfortably (for him) long hug.
