?????? Two boat rego stickers now required

Renewed my boat rego at DOT yesterday and they provided TWO stickers and we were told one is now required on each side of the boat......didn't sound right but wasn't going to argue.....are there new regulations

The sticker is colour coded and contains the month and year of expiry. It must be fixed to left side of your boat near the registration numbers.
the shitty brown colour for 2021 is because the government was, as always, a year late to call 2020 a shit year due to covid, so we got the shity colour in 2021

My boats always registered
My boats always registered but I have forgotten to put the new sticker on for the last 3 years. They can check the rego these days so no need for a sticker just like a car.
