Sounder advice

Hey guys I'm chasing some advice on a sounder for my kayak. It will be mainly used for locating redfin and bottom contours in the dams and rivers, I don't want to spend too much on it as there's a good chance it will end up submerged at some stage. Have looked at the lowrance hook 2 for 119 but I think I'd prefer a tall skinny sounder rather than the wider models. Perhaps the pirahna max series from hummingbird?

Thanks for the offer mate, I don't think I could ever go back to black and white though.

Raymarine dragonfly would suit to a tea.

The hook 2 4x 4 inch unit

The hook 2 4x 4 inch unit would be perfect. plug and play the unit does all the tuning without having to do anything. Also has the GPS. Great for a kayak as you are never in deep water and for $120 if it gets flooded just buy a new one.
