Sounder Recomendations

 Hey Guys,

Well the tinnie is coming along and i now am looking for a sounder to match it. Mainly fishing river, estuary etc. looking to spend between $200 and $400. Ive always used Furuno but might be swayed otherwise , not sure what way to go any help appreciated.

Ta Willo.

I'd just go a small Lowrance

I'd just go a small Lowrance Willo with structure scan. Should work beautifully in shallower water.

Yeah Andy that's what i was thinking, i haven't really been keeping up to date with them . Thought there may have been some  wiz bang sounder new to the market that i hadn't come across , would have to be 5 inch screen so i don't have to wear glasses lol.

 I've got a dragonfly 7 in

I've got a dragonfly 7 in mine ATM. Goes good but going to switch back to a furuno 620 that I picked up as I like the furuno set up better. If you're interested in that let me know. I've also got a raymarine a50d which I was going swap out for the dragonfly to use as a stand alone gps. Both are combo units but I only need one.

There's a 5" humminbird on runout at whitworths. Don't know about them but saw it cheap the other day.
