South West Mackie on straight hook

The stars aligned yesterday to get out for a quick spear , so after launching at Canal's Dave and myself managed a Dhu and a couple of Big Skippy before this fella came to close , Dave managed a long shot ( freshly sharpened spear and two new 16mm rubbers on the Rob Allen that Morn )that toggled under the skin after hitting the spine . He let go of the floatline and off it raced , a quick call to me , chase down and shot through from above and it was ours . couple of crays to round out the bag on the way home...sweet
